Q1: What is blogvertising and is it an interesting business model for small business companies that are beginning to blog, or does it only benefit large blogs?
A1: Yes, absolutely. Blogvertising is more a ‘paid opinion’ than traditional advertising. Advertisers simply provide their product or business descriptions and bloggers provide honest reviews of these products and services.
Blogvertising is one of the cheapest and the most effective ways for businesses to reach their target audience, to generate leads and drive sales; without to sound like a megaphone from the old school outbound media.
While the most bloggers who offer paid reviews are connected to social media like Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn, the reviews can be spread to this networks through retweets and facebook connect etc. they can reach a much larger audience as well. This effect opens advertisers a universe of opportunities to establish a global recognition of their products and services and to attract customers from all over the world, laser targeted!
Q2: As a German inbound marketer, which inbound marketing tactics do you use and benefit most from?
A2: A big shift in marketing has emerged where the client wants to find products and services when he decides to do so.
Inbound marketing is growing! Because the consumers and businesses from TODAY can’t be reached effectively anymore trough marketing tactics and channels from YESTERDAY like in the past 60 years. Nowadays clients have developed some kind of personal spam filter. This personal spam filter goes from clicking unwanted emails away and not listening to radio and tv broadcasts when they appear. They simply ignore it. And for the younger ones between an age of 11 and 25 these channels do not even exist.
To get found from your clients TODAY you need to be there where your clients are. Therefore social media is a great opportunity to show your expertise, to gain trust and as a result of all of this honest effort hopefully to grow your revenue in the long therm.
To reach my targeted audience I distribute remarkable content on a regularly base through social media like Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn and I try to participate helpfully within these groups related to my topics.
Q3: Can you point out a few interesting German blogs (in English) about social media, content marketing or search engine marketing?
A3: I actually focus on the US and English speaking market.
